• Briefed potential suppliers on the clients behalf prior to their presentation to ensure that it is relevant and focussed
  
  
• Managed the client selection team prior to the presentations and agreed a selection criteria
  
  
• Attended supplier presentations to provide a technical view and, as far as possible, expose any exaggerations or half-truths
  
  
• Assisted client in evaluating the suppliers to produce a shortlist
  
  
• Provided additional information (including the Statement of Requirements) to the shortlisted suppliers which allowed them to produce a formal fixed-cost bid
  
  
• Help SRG to evaluate the two proposals and choose a winner
  
  
• Reviewed the commercial aspects of the contract proposed by the supplier and suggested areas where the client could negotiate.
